About this Seminar
This session revisits and explores the relevance and the use of the Singapore Reserved Power Trust in today’s environment, and the services of a Singapore licensed trust company, whether as trustee of a Singapore or foreign law trust.
Hear first-hand from experienced local and foreign practitioners on how and why they have considered and used Singapore trust law and/or the Singapore licensed trust company in the course of their advisory work to families and trustees. The foreign representatives are from Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

About the Speakers/ Panellists: |
Ms Giulia Cipollini – Partner, Head of Tax and Wealth Planning, Withers LLP, Italy Giulia is head of the Italian Tax and Wealth Planning Team. She provides fiscal assistance to families, entrepreneurs, charities, foundations, artists and sportspeople regarding tax advice, the Italian "new residence" regime, as well as specific assistance in establishing trusts and other instruments for succession planning.

Mr Yann Mrazek – Managing Partner, M/HQ, UAE Yann is the Managing Partner of M/HQ. He chiefly focuses on private wealth, tax and immigration practice. He has vast experience advising successful individuals and entrepreneurial families with Middle Eastern exposure on implementing inter-generational wealth transfer strategies and structuring their operational assets and global wealth. He is regularly involved in the ongoing management of such structures – as a board member, council member, guardian or protector.

Mr Peter Ni – Partner, Zhong Lun Law Firm, China Peter Ni oversees the tax and wealth planning practice of Zhong Lun Law Firm, one of the top three PRC law firms. Peter has over 22 years of experience in providing PRC and international tax services, including 9 years in the US. Peter used to lead the Greater China tax practice of White & Case and the international tax practice of Ernst & Young China. Peter has been continuously ranked as a Band 1 Chinese tax lawyer and a Band 1 private client lawyer by leading international directories including Chambers. Peter regularly writes about PRC tax and wealth planning. In addition to PRC legal education, Peter holds a LLM in Taxation from NYU and a LLM in corporate law from Harvard. He is qualified to practice law in both the PRC and the US. |

Ms Goh Seow Chee – Managing Director, Aequitas Advisory Pte Ltd Before starting Aequitas, Seow Chee has spent more than 20 years in the tax and financial services industry specializing in tax investigation, trust and family succession planning. In the most recent years, Seow Chee has been sharpening her focus on family office space, supporting Singapore and international clients. Prior to founding her firm, Seow Chee was the Managing Director and Head of Wealth Advisory South East Asia at J P Morgan Private Bank, Singapore. She had previously held senior positions in HSBC Trustee Singapore and Equity Trust Singapore (now known as TMF Group). She started her career with Inland Revenue of Singapore as a tax investigator. |
