The Destructive Power of Family Wealth – A Guide to Succession Planning
Tuesday 18 April 2017, 12:00 - 14:00

About this Seminar

Philip Marcovici will be leading a discussion on the topics covered by his latest book, The Destructive Power of Family Wealth – A Guide to Succession Planning, Asset Protection and Wealth Management. Philip has promised to be both controversial and thought-provoking! Philip wrote this book to help families navigate the increasingly complex world of succession planning and asset protection, and to share his views on the state of the wealth management industry. Philip’s book also contains his views on strategy for private banks, trust companies and others in the wealth management industry looking for success in a time of enormous change and challenge. Philip will be focusing on the ways STEP members can help address the real needs of wealth and business owning families and adapt to a fast-changing world, and will comment on both the risks and opportunities for Singapore given the shift from “offshore” to “onshore” and “mid-shore.” Philip will also be sharing his views on why trust companies, private banks and others involved in wealth management need to look to the luxury sector to better manage their brands and service propositions.
